Sanwo-Olu’s EKOEXCEL Set to Showcase Impact at 2024 Education World Forum

The Education World Forum (EWF) 2024 marks a significant milestone for the Lagos State Government’s EKOEXCEL programme as it prepares to showcase its transformative impact on education at this prestigious global event. Led by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Hon. Jamiu Ali-Balogun, the Lagos State delegation is poised to highlight EKOEXCEL’s successes and share insights into its data-driven approach to education reform.

EKOEXCEL, a flagship initiative of the Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has revolutionized primary education through innovative technology, professional development for teachers, and a commitment to equitable learning outcomes. With over 13,000 teachers equipped with tablets and pre-loaded lesson plans, the programme has standardized high-quality instruction across all 1013 public primary schools in Lagos State.

The 2024 Education World Forum, themed “Encouraging AI understanding, Building human relationships and resilience, and accelerating Climate action,” provides an ideal platform to showcase EKOEXCEL’s achievements and contribute to the global dialogue on education reform.
